As all of the adventures arrive to The Moonlit Willow, Greybold Lifeheart is the first to pass through its doors. There are many people already here for the event to start, but the band has not started to play. He presents his invitation to Aiko “Moonwhisper” at the bar. He is welcomed and lead to a seat in the middle of the tavern. After sometime Daffodil walks through the doors. Taking a look around, she proceeds to the bar. She is greeted kindly and finds a seat near the door. Sometime later, as more people have entered the establishment, Roland walks through the bar and asked for a shot of whiskey. When Moonwhisper asks for 2 gold for the drink he throws his invitation down onto the counter. He tosses back his first shot and asked for another. He proceeds to station himself near the stage. The next adventure to walk through the bar is Poppy and her construct Deathtrap with her Dolly in toe. She proceeds to take a seat further away from the crowds and allows Dolly and Deathtrap to eat things from the floor. A little while later the doors open wide as you can’t tell if the doors are creaking or if it is what is walking through the door. The sound of Neamhni striding across the tavern is easy to hear. He is greeted by Moonwhisper. He asked for the sunniest spot in the place. He stations himself near the tree on the far side of the tavern. Fengjiu is the last of the adventures to enter the tavern. She is greeted by Moonwhisper and asked to go to her room. She is shown her room and transforms into her fox form and then proceeds downstairs. Upon looking around she takes an interest in Neamhni and curls up around his feet.
Mystic Harmony soon comes on stage and starts playing several of their songs. "Whispers of the wind," "Dreaming in color" and their latest hit "Starlit pathways." The band then starts to play a new tune. About 20 seconds into the song the whole crowd, with the exception of the six adventures and Moonwhisper, all either fall fast asleep or frozen in time. As the song goes on, the adventures, realize they are the only ones not affected by whatever this magic is. They also realize that the song is sung specifically for them. The two poppets start moving people’s arms and bodies trying to figure out if they’re asleep or if they’re frozen. Those asleep, their bodies fall limp to their tables. Those frozen, stay wherever the puppets left them. Roland is freaked out and pulls his gun, aiming at everybody. Graybold sees nothing but realizes that the crowd has gone silent and proceeds to head in Roland‘s direction. As the song comes to an end, the lead singer says to the six adventures, "We need to talk after the show!" Just as she finishes, saying this to the adventures everyone else in the tavern wakes up or unfreezes with very little notice of anything going wrong or a miss. After Mystic Harmony plays a few more songs they end their set and the adventures follow the band backstage. They are greeted by the five band members. Mizuki “Rei” talks to the adventures and ask them to join New York. After some deliberation, the adventures agree to take up the mantle and work for New York. “Rei” tells the party that they have been recruited and that Mystic Harmony does the recruiting for New York. “Rei” request that the party start small and deliver 12 letters and to talk to Moonwhisper about the details. The party finds out that there are two missing adventures. The two missing adventures are twin brother and sister. They checked in sometime before the other adventures arrived but have gone missing before anyone could talk to them.
The party talks to you Moonwhisper and is told that they need to deliver two of the letters to two people at the twins bar a couple miles northeast of where they are. The party asked about the twins and end up inspecting their rooms. The party splits into the two rooms and both parties find the same information. The ribbons from the invitations are missing. Nothing has been touched or moved, except that the invitations are in their rooms without the ribbon. Fengjiu tries to use her Trick Magic Item and only figures out that the ribbon around the invitations seems to be part of something bigger. The ribbon auto heals and is freely tied and untied. Without any other clues, the party sleeps/rests for the night. The next morning they are greeted by Moonwhisper with breakfast and drink along with any other nourishment the party needs.
The party heads north east of town towards Twins Bar. Along the way, they are halted by a cart in the middle of the road that has turned Northwest. As the party approaches, two boars are released from the cart as if a trap was sprung. With some of the party caught off guard one of the boars rushes Neamhni and critically hits. He is nearly taken down. With some creative tactics, Daffodil, using tango vine, and Greybold and Neamhni causing powerful damage to the attacking boar the party is able to rally. The second boar looks to run from the fight. Roland takes the high ground on a boulder and finishes off the first boar and attempts to kill the second. Upon the boars retreat, it is slain from the distance by two arrows. Neamhni and Daffodil see two identical figures in the distance. Neamhni calls out to them in a booming voice with no response as Daffodil alerts the party and asked if anyone else saw them. The identical figures give no response and make no gesture of recognition.
The party rushes to get the cart out of the way and double times it down the road to no avail of finding the two identical figures. What they do come across, in what seems to be in the middle of nowhere, is Twins Bar. Two identical swinging signs with "Twins Bar" written on each of them. They open the doors, step inside, and are taken back by what they see. Twenty three tables in the establishment, with each table seated one catfolk and one tangu.
