A goblin screams out;
“Viper, you in a better place!
You, and Ricky,
You ain't never did nothing to nobody
Well you bit a lot of people, Viper.
So, technically you might actually deserved it, this might be something that was long overdue.” As the goblin’s voice trails off questioning if Viper really did deserve to be killed by the party.
The goblins quickly used the distance between them and the party tactically. Some of the goblins went right, some of them went left, while two rush forward, and two stay back. This caused a little bit of confusion within the party as the goblins were out of reach on their first round. Though the goblins were spread out, the party started to thin the goblin numbers. Deathtrap was sent in by Poppy by what seemed to be used as canon fodder. Deathtrap was able to kill one goblin with it's big red hammer, but a second goblin evaded Deathtrap's red hammer three times in a row. Daffodil poisoned one of the goblins severely while Greybold took out two of the goblins himself. The goblin party started to dwindle. Fengjui took the majority of damage from the goblins but was able to dish it right back. Neamhni spent the majority of the time trying to get into place. Once Neamhni was in place he speared one of the goblins to the ground. During the fight one of the goblins yelled out “They killed Ted!” Roland had his own problems, dealing with two goblins at close range. Using some tricky that didn’t seem to work, he ended up killing one of the goblins at point blank range.
With only one goblin left, it dropped to its knees and let go of its weapon and yelled out, “Twins told us it would be easy to kill you. They told us where we could find you. They said that you would be easy killing.” With the party taking pity on the last remaining goblin they proceeded to ask the goblin questions about the twins. The goblin tells the party that a group of them took the cart from the road where the party left it. Another group of goblins stayed to harvest the boar meat. It wasn’t until after finding their dead comrades that the twins approach them and told the goblins where to find the party. This is why the goblin party attacked. Roland asked the goblin to draw the twins, and unfortunately the goblin was only able to draw stick figures and was not much help.
With telling the goblin that it was fair trade of “the party’s cart” (wasn’t theirs to begin with) and the death of the goblins friends, and especially Ted. Rolland was able to deceive the goblin to get it to believe that the party and the goblins would go after the Twins. "The goblins go left, you all go right!" As Roland clearly realizes that the goblin motioned the opposite directions of what the goblin said. The party eventually let the goblin go unharmed as it scurried through the battlefield and took some of the supplies and weapons from its dead comrades. The party proceeded to go back to Moonlight Willow. Upon entering they see three beings they haven’t met before. One is a shisk alchemist, the next is a gray skinned dwarf with two javelins attached to its back, and a tall orc that clearly has converted an anchor into a weapon. The dwarf says, “I think you are looking for us.”
