After the main continents started receiving magical items and riches from ships that had found this mysterious island, races from all over started flocking to the island. Initially everything was peaceful, but greed soon set in. Over time the inhabitants started going after the Lonely Mountain's riches.
This was the time of the Great Decimation. The island that had one Giant Mountain of riches transformed the land into a crater in the center and four mountains. The land and inhabitants were decimated and scattered to the outskirts of the island.
The last war happened between Good and Evil. No one won, they all seemed to loose and it created the Twice Dead Marshlands
Things have been fairly peaceful, but unrest is starting to show. People are starting to venture deeper into the center of the land, and the center of the land is starting to venture out. The flaws in the systems that kept things in place are starting to show their cracks. This is where we find our current adventurers.
